Communication Masks
Our Communication Masks are great for those who are deaf or hard of hearing as well as their close friends and family members, those that work with the elderly, teachers and lecturers, Speech and Language Pathologists, Audiologists, Occupational Therapists and many more! 55% of communication is Visual. Traditional masks prevent our ability to see facial expressions and emotions, catch visual cues, and communicate accurately. We have all struggled with communication in some way when wearing masks during the Covid-19 Pandemic. However, those who are deaf or hard of hearing have struggled the most as they now face new challenges when communicating. One of the main areas of Communication and Sign Language is facial expressions, which traditional face masks inhibit. We have rubbed a small amount of sunlight liquid on the clear window of the mask and left it to dry for a few minutes. This prevents any misting/ fogging.

Disclaimer: Fabric Face Masks do not intend to replace Surgical or N95 Face Masks. Fabric Face Masks are not to be used by any frontline workers dealing with patients who may have Covid-19. It is a contingency plan for those who have no avail to surgical masks in the market. Fabric Masks aim to free up the demand of surgical masks for people who have direct contact with patients with Covid-19 or for patients with Covid-19 themselves. Fabric Masks are merely a crisis response option when other supplies have been exhausted.
