Information provided on our website is not intended to be, nor should it be considered as legal or therapeutic advice. This content is for informational purposes only. It is within the sole discretion of the customer to determine whether the use of our products comply with medical necessity by the user. …For Good Hope shall bear no liability in respect of any defect or damage arising from fair wear and tear, damage, negligence, abnormal environmental conditions, misuse or alteration of our products, or unintended or unreasonable use. …For Good Hope offers no warranty and is not liable for any damage arising from rips, tears, abrasion, UV degradation, misuse or neglect. It should be noted that fabrics deteriorate and fade over time, and moving parts wear out. Therefore, products may suffer from differing degrees of wear-and-tear, depending upon the user.

Delivery Policy

Subject to availability and receipt of payment, our turnaround time is between 7-10 business days. However, we try our best to fulfil order deliveries well before the given time.

We make use of The Courier Guy and PUDO. All products are checked and sealed securely before being couriered. We cannot be held liable for any delays or loss by the Courier Service. All products are at the client’s risk and responsibilty once it has left our premises.

Please note: We are situated 45 minutes from our nearest town; outside of any Couriers’ radius! We, therefore, travel this distance to Courier orders. Orders are couriered twice per week. Should you require any special delivery instructions/ urgent deliveries, please contact us before placing your order and we will do our best to try and accommodate you. Urgent Shipping costs R500; however, it is advisable to contact us prior to selecting this option as our dirt road is sometimes undrivable in wet weather/ during snow.

We currently offer the following Courier options:

Courier to your Door

  • R85 for deliveries of small parcels and R99 for deliveries of larger parcels. Parcel size is calculated at checkout.
  • Delivery will never usually be more than the above pricing; and if it is, we usually carry the cost. However, if we find that the Delivery Address provided is in a rural/ outlying area which will cost quite a lot more than the quoted amount, the customer will be contacted in order to either pay the surplus or change the delivery method to PUDO Courier.
  • Delivery Time from Date of Dispatch: 2-5 working days in major centres; outlying areas might take a little longer. Shipments within KZN and Gauteng’s main city centres are normally delivered the following day after dispatch.
  • Tracking info: Tracking Numbers will be forwarded once the order has been sent out.

PUDO Locker to Locker

  • Cost: R75 flat rate
  • Delivery Time from Date of Dispatch: 3-5 working days.
  • Tracking info: Tracking Numbers will be forwarded once the order has been sent out. You will receive an email from PUDO when your order has been placed in your Locker of choice.

Free Shipping

  • Spend R800 or more and receive Free Shipping!
  • Please note: This does not apply to Custom Orders, Sales or purchases using Coupon Codes
  • For rural/ outlying areas or farms, Courier may cost a lot more than R99! In these instances, the customer may need to cover the surplus or change the delivery method to PUDO Courier.

Local Pick-Up or Drop-Off

I am based in Impendle; however I go to Howick once per week, and to Pietermaritzburg twice per month. You are more than welcome to arrange a Pick-Up or Drop-Off location with me in order to avoid Courier costs. Please contact me prior to selecting this method of shipping at Checkout in order to arrange a time and place to suit us both! Call/ Whatsapp Claudia on 072 013 8294. Returns/ Exchanges

We will gladly exchange or accept a return of a product, provided it meets the following conditions:

  • The packaging for the product is completely intact and in the condition in which we sent it.
  • The cliet has not used the product (except for fitting purposes) and is in the condition in which we sent it.
  • The client has not altered the product in any way (embroidery, hemming, etc.).
  • The client assumes responsibility for the courier costs associated with the exchange/ return.
  • The request for exchange/ return is within 7 days of receipt of the product/s.
  • The item is not a custom order (all custom order items are final sales).
  • The item is not a sale item (all sale items are final sales).

Should the product that you wish to return meet the above conditions, please drop us a line on info@forgoodhope.co.za to discuss your exchange/ return requirements. Please include your reason for the exchange/ return as well as your order number. We will gladly arrange the courier service for you if need be.

Should there be a fault/ defect of the product, please do not hesitate to contact us. We will exchange the product at our expense. However, please note that we will only process exchanges/ refunds once we have received the original product. The client assumes responsibility for the courier costs associated with getting the defective product back to us. Once the product reaches us, we will refund the client for the Courier Cost and/ or product, should we find there to be a fault/ defect.

Refunds (If applicable)

Once we have received your product, we will drop you a line to discuss a possible refund for your product and the process thereafter. On the other hand, we reserve the right not to exchange/ refund your purchase if the products do not meet the above conditions.
