Description

Our Large Microwavable Heat Bags are a favourite among Physiotherapists and their patients!

We use locally sourced natural Whole Wheat or Buckwheat (depending on availability).

Design: Multi-sectional inner bag, which ensures the wheat is spread evenly; thus providing proportionate heat distribution; as well as a removable outer cover which allows for easy laundering.

We use 100% Cotton material for the inner bag as this material can withstand high heat.

Due to the ability of the Heat Bags to mould easily to the joint/ area; it is a very effective method of delivering heat gradually and evenly to the treatment area.

We use  industrial sewing and overlocking machines to manufacture our microwavable heat bags. As a result, we ensure durability and reliability of the stitching and manufacturing process. Seams are double stitched around the heat bag; and triple stitched between the divisions in order to ensure the wheat stays securely in the heat bag.

We include detailed instructions with each order so that you are able to utilise your Heat Bag effectively.

Precautions:

This heat bag is not suitable for:

  • Infants
  • Individuals with Diabetes
  • Individuals with decreased sensation
  • Wounds/ Areas of broken skin

Individuals who are unable to apply/ remove the heat bag on their own may require supervision. This may also apply to the elderly with limited muscle strength or individuals with disabilities.
